The Joint Laboratory is managed by a group composed of "industry, academia, and research." The leadership group consists of the Academic Committee and the Management Committee, as shown in the figure. The laboratory operates under the director responsibility system, with one deputy director responsible for the daily management of the Joint Laboratory. Specific tasks are assigned to researchers according to their responsibilities. Additionally, there is one foreign director responsible for the daily management of the Egyptian laboratory. The laboratory conducts research based on the determined goals and budget.
